Magic Reef Bungalows was a great base for our week in the Cook Islands. Well located to Avarua, the best snorkeling beaches, and great restaurants. Our bungalow was on the beachfront, clean and had everything we needed. And being on the western side of the island set us up for great sunsets. Thanks to Simonne, Lawrence and Jayne who made our stay special.

We had a wonderful stay at Magic Reef for a week in November 2025. The bungalows are beautiful, unique and thoughtfully furnished with everything you need. The location is ideal right on the beach with great restaurants and cafes nearby. We especially enjoyed the Waterline Bar and Restaurant which is 3 minutes walk away along the beach. All the staff at Magic Reef are friendly and go the extra mile to make sure that you have a great experience there. Lawrence was waiting for us at the airport when we arrived and his electric cars are brilliant value, so don’t hesitate to book them. We loved the swimming pool, the fresh drinking water and the clothes washing machine. There is an electric insect zapper in the room and screens on all the windows and doors which was appreciated. The bed was really comfortable and the towels were changed every couple of days which was perfect for us.
We loved getting to know Lawrence, Simonne and their family and can’t wait to return to see them again next year.
